Welcome to Hampshire Collegiate School

Hampshire Collegiate School (HCS) is a warm and welcoming independent day and boarding school for boys and girls from 2 years 6 months to 18 years. Dedicated to bringing out ‘the best in everyone’, the school enables its pupils to become self-disciplined, responsible, well-motivated and excited learners. We are a community that values the individuality of each child and provides the perfect environment in which our pupils may flourish. Our very strong pastoral tradition ensures that we maintain a record of academic success for a wide range of abilities. Set in 130 acres of private park, including wild gardens, woodland and a lake, Hampshire Collegiate School was once the home of Florence Nightingale. Facilities on campus include a performing arts centre, a sports hall, science labs, ICT suites, tennis courts and an all-weather hockey facility. The prep school is on the same site in separate, purpose-built accommodation.
