A Message from the Principal

As you will be aware, I have been offered and accepted a unique opportunity to be Principal of d’Overbroeck’s in Oxford, which I will take up at the end of the Spring term.   I will be very sad to be leaving Hampshire Collegiate School, after leading three years of rapid and successful change all of which I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy.

The School provides a vibrant, aspirational home for our pupils where they can develop their ambitions, purpose and enjoyment of learning surrounded by the faith and support of wonderful HCS families and staff.

I am very fortunate to be working with a cohesive, highly professional and dedicated leadership team here who will provide the continuity and consistency in the transition to my successor, whilst we continue to move the school from strength to strength.  Mrs Donnelly as Head of Prep, Mr Yates as Academic Deputy, Mr Cuff as Pastoral Deputy and Mr Dawson as Bursar will provide support and momentum in equal measure.

A rigorous recruitment process is under way for a new Principal to take over the helm at HCS and I look forward to sharing my joy in  the role with my successor when they are appointed.  In the meantime, we have a full and busy academic term to enjoy!
