Cross Country Winners

HCS cross-country is flying high after the prep school won the Hampshire local schools Romsey ?pyramid? tri-race league event held over the spring and summer terms. Thirteen schools took part and three races were held, one of which was hosted at HCS earlier this year. As well as winning the overall trophy for the first placed team, success was also celebrated for Jemma Jackson who was the winning girl overall for Years 3 and 4. Olivia Gray won second place and Charlotte Piper third. For the boys in this age group Mathew Prest achieved third place overall. Well done also to Charlotte Charman who came first overall in Years 5 & Year 6 girls, but is actually only in Year 5! Donna Smith who runs the league events for the Romsey area was welcomed to school to present the trophy, medals and certificates.
