Celebrating European Day of Languages
26 September was the European Day of Languages. To celebrate, the kitchen staff at HCS produced a European themed lunch, which included: Bratwurst with Sauerkraut, French bread pizza, spaghetti bolognese and fish and chips. At morning break, the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department sold a selection of European cheeses and meats, plus pains au chocolat and croissants, all of which proved very popular. The
profit made will be sent to the school in Madagascar, for which we raised money last year.
