Booked Up!

A national programme aimed at encouraging 11 year olds to read for pleasure. All Year 7 pupils benefited this week by receiving a free book of their choice from a wide selection of popular authors including Karen McCobie, Morris Gletizman, Cathy MacPhail and Percy Jackson. The Booked Up website has a dedicated space for parents and carers with tips on how to encourage reading at home – visit www.bookedup.org.uk
