The Last Hour

Visitors to the Senior School pantomime ‘The Last Hour’, written by Mike Lucas, were certainly not disappointed with the performance by pupils in Years 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13, some of whom had never appeared on stage before.

The audience were transported into Fairy Story Land, where a wicked queen had cast a spell on the characters who had only one hour left before the queen would rule in her Land of Darkness. The play, which was written and copyrighted 13 years ago, was revamped for this year, with new characters introduced and some new songs added.

Director Hazel Lucas thanked everyone who had supported the production over the two nights. “The play went exceptionally well and all the pupils involved were fantastic.
