Hospice Charity Santa Dash at HCS hopes to raise over

Organisers of the recent Santa Dash and Jingle Bell walk in the grounds of Hampshire Collegiate School are hoping to have raised over £2,000 by the time all the sponsorship money has been collected.

The 5km Santa Dash and 1km Jingle Bell walk which took place on Sunday 12 December attracted over 75 participants. Most were dressed as Santa (including a dog!) however two elves and a fairy also took part.

The Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity would like to thank everyone that took part and made this fabulous fun event, both successful and possible. Dave Nicholson, Community & Events Fundraiser  for the charity said: “By taking part in the Santa Dash you have made a real difference to the patients at the hospice. It is because you care; we can.”
