Boarding News: Update

Boarders have enjoyed an in-house performance of Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd (superbly performed by a very talented cast) and an trip to see Footloose in Southampton resulting in a dancing ovation. We have also taken a pleasant outing to Oxford where boarders were given the option either to explore the city sights or visit the Ashmolean Museum’s fascinating collections of musical instruments, tapestries, coins and a special exhibition of ghosts featured in Japanese art. This was followed by our most recent expedition to London and a flight on the  London Eye for the spectacular views across central London.

Future Trips and Events

This half-term, we are planning a trip to Hampton Court Palace, former home of Henry VIII and a trip by ferry, to the Isle of Wight. Between these events, due to its popularity last year, we will be holding another Oscars night where boarders can wear formal dress, enjoy a three-course dinner and watch a repeat of the ceremony on a projector screen.
