A teacher from Hampshire Collegiate School (HCS) has raised over £340 for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice by abseiling from the top of Guy’s Hospital Tower.
On Saturday 05 March, 2011, design technology teacher Ross Watson, abseiled down the 470ft Tower in London to raise much funds for the children’s hospice in Dorset.
He commented: “I am delighted to raise this money for Julia’s House, to support the fabulous work they do. There was a great view from the top of the tower. I was smiling at the start, scared half way down and smiling at the bottom!”
