HCS Pupil and His Band "The Fringe" at LiveFest Grand Final 2011
We are delighted to inform you that HCS pupil Christopher and his band The Fringe are through to the National Grand Final at Live Fest on Saturday 23 July at the Indig02, the 02 Arena. They were one of two Southern Area Live & Unsigned winners from a total of 22 who performed in their round.
As well as winning the TC Electronics Exposure Award which is given to the act that achieves the most 'high profile' publicity material and/or stunt in each Area final day, the Fringe also won a Festival Partner Award. This award was given to the acts who impressed the relevant Festival Representatives at the Portsmouth Area Final day. Lucy Soal, Butsefest organiser, chose The Fringe and two other bands to perform on the main stage at the festival which takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire on Saturday 17 September 2011.
