Under the tutelage of Paul Manning, a falconer with over 20 years’ experience, pupils will experience handling a range a birds of prey. These include a Peregrine falcon, Harris hawk, European eagle owls, red tailed hawks, a Lanner falcon and a kestrel.
Paul works for Amews Falconry, a Lantra accredited centre for Falconry, located near Romsey.
The ten week course, which takes place on campus, is open to pupils from year 9 to year 13.
