Pupils Raise Money for Naomi House

Children at Hampshire Collegiate Prep School have raised £300 for Naomi House children’s hospice with their Easter festivities.

The ‘Friends of HCS’ (parents of pupils) organised an egg hunt, within the woodland grounds of the school. This year, there was an added twist of a quiz for the children to solve, before they found the hidden eggs. There was also the opportunity to win a huge chocolate egg in a raffle. All the money raised was presented to Paula Flower, Community Fundraiser for Naomi House, in a special end-of-term Easter assembly. Paula used this opportunity to tell the children about the hospice care that will be provided for young people at Jack’s Place, once it is completed. Paula also gave thanks to the parents involved in making the event such a success.

Head Teacher Elaine Hooton said:  “We were delighted to welcome Paula to our special assembly to collect the donation and draw the winning ticket.”
