Weekend Trips

While boarding at HCS you will have weekend trips organised to witness the vibrant culture in the UK.  They are organised to be just like family outings, combining places of interest, good food, and shopping.

Examples of weekend boarding trips 2009/2010

Term 1
September  - Trip to Thorpe Park (the UKs most thrilling theme park)
September  - Portsmouth Maritime Museum, Historic Dockyards and Gunwharf Quays (shopping malls)
October  - Trip to London: Science Museum and shopping in Oxford Street
November – Bath, historic Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and Jane Austen Museum
November - Winchester Art Gallery and Christmas Markets
December - London Christmas shopping trip

Term 2
January - BBC TV Centre, tour of radio and television studios
January - Bristol theatre trip and an exhibition
February - Oxford to tour the University and city
February - Longleat a tour of historic house and safari park
March Trip to coastal city of Brighton to visit the Pavilion and Pier
