Hampshire Collegiate School pupil Jack Needell has had his work selected by the Royal Academy for their A level Summer Exhibition Online. Jack’s painting entitled ‘A Dark Corridor’ was chosen from over 1,300 artworks submitted by pupils from across the UK.
This is the third consecutive year that work by a Hampshire Collegiate School pupil has been selected for this exhibition. The online exhibition is live from 14 June until 22 August and Jack’s painting can be found in the habitation/dereliction section of the RA website. To view the exhibition click here.
Jack, 18, said: “It is a privilege to be on the Royal Academy site and to be chosen from such a large amount of entries.”
Jack will be embarking on an art Foundation course in Bournemouth in September and afterwards hopes to do a degree in media.
