Welcome to HCS Prep School; a thriving, busy, warm and welcoming school for boys and girls set within our wonderful campus shared with the senior school. Children can come to us from age 2 1/2 until they are at the end of Year 6 (the Year in which they are 11). We are small enough, at 2 to 3 form entry, for teachers to know the children really well, yet large enough to provide an outstanding range of learning opportunities. Each child has their own unique profile of interests and talents. Our passion is in helping them to develop these and to truly reach their potential. Enjoyment in learning is at the heart of all we do. We know that this enhances achievement at all levels across all areas of learning.
It is the human dimension in any school that is the most important. Our combination of superb environment and a community, which seeks only the very most worthwhile, results in children who are lively, charming, relaxed, confident, courteous and well-behaved.
