Excellent examination results - 100% pass rate at GCSE and A level since the school began. 

2012 GCSE = 100% A*/A to C (69% A*/A grades)
2012 AS = 100% A grades
2012 A2 = 100% A - C (40% A grades 40% B grades)

• Excellent facilities with spacious accommodation including a dedicated Sixth Form studio.
• Regular gallery visits are organised to relevant exhibitions.
• Every year HCS Sixth Form students are accepted onto the Art and Design Foundation Course at the prestigious Arts University College, Bournemouth.

• HCS have had two works selected for the Royal Academy A level on-line Exhibition since its inauguration in 2007. The on-line exhibition runs parallel to the world famous Summer Exhibition.
• An HCS student won BHS National T- shirt Design competition and their design was put into production and sold in BHS stores.
• Three HCS students had work selected for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Summer Art Competition. One was Joint Winner and two were Highly Commended.
• Three pieces of A level work were selected for the London exhibition of the Society for All Artists (SAA) Artist of the Year, each was Highly Commended and reached the final from a submission of over 6,000.
• AN HCS student's painting was selected for the International High Schools Festival and exhibited in the Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo, Japan.
