• We offer excellent facilities with spacious accommodation including a dedicated Sixth form studio.
  
• HCS have had two works selected for the Royal Academy A level on-line Exhibition since its inauguration in 2007. The on-line exhibition runs parallel to the world famous Summer Exhibition.
  
• A student from HCS won British Home Stores National T- shirt Design competition. The design was put into production and sold in BHS stores.
  
• At KS3 - three HCS students had work selected for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Summer Art Competition 2011. One was Joint Winner and the work of the other two was Highly Commended.
  
• Three pieces of A level work were selected for the London exhibition of the Society for All Artists (SAA) Artist of the year, each was Highly Commended and reached the final of 62 works form a submission of over 6,000.
  
• A painting from HCS was selected for the International High Schools Festival and was exhibited in the Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo, Japan.
  
• A one day Textiles workshop organised by Creative Education was held for students in Year 10.
  
• Gallery visits are organised to important exhibitions.
  
• Every year HCS Sixth form students have been awarded places on the Art and Design Foundation Course at the prestigious Arts University College, Bournemouth.
