Drama

HCS Drama At HCS we are passionate about Drama. We strive to nurture talent and bring out the very best in all students. Our facilities include a fully-equipped studio theatre, tutorial rooms for private study lessons and a recently built outdoor amphitheatre.
  • All Key Stage 3 and 4 students take part in a period of Drama every week.
  • Drama lessons cover basic acting and stage techniques, including use of voice, physicality and characterisation.
  • Students study the work of famous dramatic practitioners and lessons cover all dramatic genres.
  • GCSE and A level examinations are studied to the Edexcel specification.
  • LAMDA examinations are offered as a lunchtime or after-school activity. There is a LAMDA showcase in the spring term
