Hampshire Collegiate School has launched its new Mini MBA Experience for Sixth Form students. This programme offers an innovative addition to the school’s academic curriculum in Year 12.
The Mini MBA Experience is intended to help students develop personally and professionally. Through a series of practical and interactive workshops, delivered by leading professionals from BDO LLP, Scion Consulting, Rooster Marketing and United Learning, it will enable students to develop commercial awareness by introducing to a number of management areas that are instrumental to business. These sessions will be delivered during enrichment time at school throughout January and February.
Year 12 students have already taken part in a series of personality profiling exercises to help them recognise their personal characteristics and how they may need to adapt these inherent behaviours to different situations. We are also launching a new employability micro-learning website which provides accredited training and resources to help students continue to develop the important interpersonal skills that employers will be looking for.
“Our school continues to search out initiatives that are novel, creative and cutting edge, the better to facilitate the professional development of our students. Through participation in our Mini MBA Experience, our students will have the opportunity to begin to develop their understanding of the world of business,” added Mr Canning, Hampshire Collegiate School's Headmaster.
