Hampshire Collegiate School appoints new Head of Prep School

Hampshire Collegiate School is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Sarah Phillips as the new Head of its Prep School from September 2018.

Mrs Phillips has over 20 years of teaching experience in independent and non-selective maintained schools. Since 2004, she has worked at King’s College Alicante in Spain, which is a large all-through British independent school for 3 to 18 year olds. For the past three years, she has been Head of Primary at the school.

Mrs Phillips was inspired by the opportunity to lead the school’s thriving Nursery and Prep School enjoyed by the school’s children. “I am delighted to have been appointed as Head of the Prep School. The school has a vibrant environment where the children are happy and eager to learn. I am looking forward to joining the team,” said Mrs Phillips.

Mr Cliff Canning, Headmaster, commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Mrs Phillips to the Senior Leadership Team at Hampshire Collegiate School. We have undertaken an extensive recruitment process and received some outstanding applications from candidates currently working in leadership positions in schools across the UK and from abroad. This has involved a rigorous selection process involving staff, pupils and governors.”
