HCS award winners attend Best in Everyone ceremony

In a glorious ceremony on a beautiful afternoon in Oxford Town Hall on Friday 29th June, Zoe (Year 13) and Keomi (Year 9) were presented with their Best in Everyone Awards by Jon Coles, the Chief Executive of United Learning.

This is a significant achievement for both girls and their teachers,as applications were received from United Learning schools from across the country for both awards. Zoe was nominated by Mr Chinnock and won the Senior History prize, while Keomi, nominated by Mrs Driver, won the Creative Writing prize for Years 7-9. We were particularly proud to see that Keomi’s poem, ‘Death’s serenade’, was one of three examples of students’ work printed in the programme for all to read.
