The Sixth Form at Hampshire Collegiate School is friendly, welcoming and dynamic. Our students are
respected as leaders within the school and treated as young adult students. In return, we have high
expectations in terms of behavior, attitude and effort.
A tailored approach to learning
Class sizes are small, the curriculum is personalised and students benefit from daily one-to-one support
sessions and a personal tutor as well as careers and UCAS advice. This provides an environment where
students strive to achieve academic excellence as well as have clarity and confidence in their vital university
and career choices. Combined with our business leadership programme and a broad and exciting range of
co-curricular activities, this makes for a stimulating, successful and fulfilling two years at Hampshire Collegiate
Leadership within school
We encourage our students to become strong and dynamic leaders within school by assigning them with
roles of responsibility to help make the school a better place. Sixth formers lead a number of our flagship
co-curricular programmes including sailing and golf as well as pastoral initiatives to support the journey of
younger members through our school. There are also opportunities to lead orchestras, choir groups, drama
clubs as well as receive London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts (Lamda) tuition and study for an extended
More than an education
Our aim is to produce resilient, creative, independent students who are flexible and proactive, who can solve
problems, think critically, make decisions, communicate ideas effectively and work well within teams. Our
students can lead themselves and others to perform up to and beyond their own expectations.
A three-way partnership
We recognise the significance of the unique partnership between the school, the pupil and home and seek to
do all we can to make these important years happy, successful and strong foundations for the future.
