Art & Design: Three Dimensional Design A Level 

A Level Three Dimensional Design is an exciting course that will enable you to explore and develop a wide range of techniques to create concept architecture, sculptures, products and furniture and understand the complex relations between design, materials, manufacture and marketing.  It is a good course to choose if you are interested in a career in design or engineering.

Throughout the course, you will be based in our specialist 3D design studios provide a fully equipped workshop including equipment for wood, metal and plastics as well as our CAD/CAM facilities.

During the first two terms of this course, you will participate in a series of workshops to help you explore our wide range of facilities and broaden your technical skills and visual understanding of different creative techniques. This will also help you to build an impressive portfolio of work. Our teaching staff will spend time discussing your personal ambitions and tailor the subject matter of your work towards your own interests as much as possible.

Assessment of the course is by two components: a personal investigation (60%) and externally set assignment (40%).
