Year 4 children are currently learning about the Tudor era. Recent work has involved sequencing key events in a chronological order, learning about the changes of monarchs through this period and exploring similarities and differences between rich and poor Tudors.

In English, the Year 4 children have been studying ‘The Queen’s Token’, a story set in Tudor times about a poor stable boy.

A trip to Weald and Downland Living Museum near Chichester gave the children a chance to experience (as much as possible) Tudor life, trying on Tudor style clothing, looking at Tudor artefacts and exploring a Tudor kitchen.
